The Argentina striker is reportedly one of Nice's main summer targets. The deal could see him leave Latics for £4 million one summer after Wigan paid £6 million. The striker is however set to hold talks with Martinez, next week over his future.

Dave Whelan has confirmed Latics have had one bid (£3 million) turned down by Bolton. He also said that it was the figure that he was told last summer. Wigan have added another half a million to the figure but Bolton are still holding strong.
While Alex McLeish is prepared to offer Bolton the £4 million they want for the goalkeeper.

Now looks like the winger will be heading back to Newcastle if a deal can be pushed through. Reports suggest that Charlie wants to join up with other frenchmen joining the club this summer. No official approach by Newcastle this summer has been made though.
