Our top Premier League scorer has again come under some interest. Hugo, who only has one year left on is contract and earlier this summer told reporters that Arsenal were looking at him. It is believed that Arsenal have been in touch with the club and made an offer in the region of £7 million.
Peter Odemwingie
If Hugo leaves the club then it is looking likely that Peter Odemwingie will join the club. It has been reported over the past few days that Wigan have contacted West Brom about Odemwingie's availability, after the baggies signed Shane Long from Reading.
Tuncay
The Turkish striker moved to Germany last January and since his move has only played four games for Wolfsburg. He has hinted at a possible exit back to the Premier League, and it is believed that us and Bolton are looking at the striker for a deal in the region of £4 million.
Shaun Wright Phillips
The race to sign Wright-Phillips has gone very quite. Earlier this week it was confirmed that at least three clubs, us included, had been given permission to talk to the player. The fee required was reported to be £4 million and the only stumbling block was the players wages.
Nouha Dicko
The fast winger, who has been on trial at the Latics, looks set to become our third summer signing. The 19-year-old attack player impressed Martinez and other club coaches enough to warrant some firm interest and it is believed that a deal is being done now.
