Cruyff Coming, McCarthy Contract

Park Chu-Young

Reports had suggested that AS Monaco have been in touch with Wigan Athletic with the aim of offloading striker Park Chu-Young.

The 26-year-old is said to be linked with a number of clubs including the Latics. The 26-year-old netted 12 goals for the relegated French League side last season. The fee possible could be about £4 million for the player, however his wages are large.

Hugo Rodallega

According to the British press Hugo's appearance on the bench against Norwich at the weekend was due to him refusing to sign a new contract. Reports suggest that Tottenham and Liverpool are lining up bids in the region of £8 million for the striker.

However news out of Wigan is different. It is believed that Rodallega will sign a new contract by the end of the summer transfer window.

James McCarthy

The young Irishman has spoken out about reports that his relationship with the club and management have broken down over new contract talks. He has said that talks are on going and he is willing to sign a new contract with the club.

It was believed that Liverpool were the front-runners to put in a bid of £12 million for the central midfielder.

Baddrol bin Bakhtiar and Wan Zack Haikal

The two Malaysian players have been given two-week trials at the club. Bakhtiar is a 20-year-old winger who has shown promising playing at all youth levels for his country, while Haikal also aged twenty and performed in the same manner.

Whether or not any move will go further than to look at them is yet to be seen.

Jessua Andrea Angoy Cruyff

The left-sided defender has reportedly not signed a new contract with Barcelona and is willing to make a move for himself else where. He is the grandson of Johan Cruyff and the nephew of Jordi.

It is believed that Martinez has had contact with the 17-year-old defender, and has interested him in making a move to Wigan.
