So the internationals are over for another month. But how did our lads to as they travelled to the far corners of the globe? Well on the whole not bad, from a clubs point of view all came back injury free and having played well individually for their country.
Gary Caldwell played in both matches for Scotland, as they beat Liechtenstein 1-0 and 3-1 to Spain, in their Euro Qualifiers meaning Scotland failed to qualify for next years Euros. James McArthur didn't feature in either game.
James McCarthy was part of the Republic of Ireland squad, that has gained qualification to the knock out round for the Euros, however the player didn't feature in either game for the Irish.
Ali Al Habsi played and captained against Australia as Oman lost 3-0 away in Australia. Yet the goalkeeper came away from the game happy and proud, after making his berth as captain of his club.
Mohammed Diame played as Senegal beat Mauritius 2-0 in an Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier.
Maynor Figueroa and Honduras lost 1-0 to the USA on Saturday and 2-1 to Jamica yesterday evening, as Figueroa featured for the full 90 minutes for both matches.
While Emmerson Boyce (who also was a captain for the first time) played away with Barbados they lost 2-0 to Guyana last Friday, and lot 4-0 against Trinidad and Tobago yesterday, in a the 2014 World Cup Qualifier.
So all the lads head back to the club. Most having played for their country having put in a good shift, will that help prepare them for the weekend? Lets have to wait and see.
