Keith Andrews heading to Latics?
Keith Andrews heading to Latics?

We are just over a month out of the transfer window, and already the club is having it Christmas wish list written up by the press. It does beg the question though. Where do the press get their stories from, for transfer links. January is three months away and already we have been linked with four players this weeks, two from the previous week carried over I will admit.

Keith Andrews

The 31-year old centeral midfielder, has been left out of the Blackburn squad, since the arrival of Steven Keane and he has been loaned out to Ipswich up till Januaray.

The midfield ace has put in some eye-catching performances so far this season, and it has supposedly caught the eye of Martinez and Brendan Rodgers at Swansea City.

The player will walk free in the summer so a cheap deal could be on the cards in January.

El Hadji Diouf

The free agent has been linked again with Latics. However Martinez has come out and said that he will make no move for the player at the current time. Whether circumstances will change, we can't tell.

It is likely however that he will move on. If so it looks like Doncaster Rovers could be the destination for the striker.

Richard Kingson

The Ghana international keeper has ha the same as Diouf and been written off of having a contract at Latics. Martinez again earlier this week, said it was a credit to have such an experienced goalkeeper training at the club, but he felt there is no particular need to add to our collection of goalkeepers.

Albert Adomah

The Bristol City winger has been spotted by Wigan scouts as a possible January signing. After impressing last year at the Robins, he was named player of the year and was nearly signed by Swansea.

However it is no believed that Wigan lead the way to complete a £1 million move for the winger in the coming transfer window.
