Well I thought this would be an obvious vote really. There has been one player who has settled into the team and us upside down and give us that extra bit we needed to push on towards the end of this season, That players is of Shaun Maloney who won your vote beating is fellow Scots man Gary Caldwell who has had another good month.

Yet Shaun has supplied us with that little bit in the midfield that has give us some momentum. He cam on against Norwich and served up Victor Moses's equalizer on a plate. Before he gave Mohamed the Diame to win the match with a late chance. It was that kind of killer edge we have been missing all season.

He showed that he deserve to be in the squad and filled the behind the striker role in well. Much better than Jordi Gomez has managed to muster in his three years at the club. Maloney who has been back and forward between England and Scotland has all the necessary experience to show the lads what to do. While being able to keep a calm head when talking a penalty against Liverpool.

Yet it is his off the ball play which has inspired me most. Rarely have a seen him walk about the pitch, he is always jogging or running somewhere to close the play down and get in the attacking players faces, before looking to break quickly up the field.

That is the kind of performances we need in the center of the park. And it has proven a wise decision by Martinez to bring the player into the squad.

Lets hope he continues his good form!
