Wigan's Most Memorable

You won't save this one Green. As N'Zogbia scores the third for Latics to win 3-2 against West Ham in 2010.

When your asked to think of you best ever moment for your sporting team. I bet you have to think long and hard before you can give an answer. Myself I am no different especially when it come to Wigan, over the years there have been so many fantastic moments in our small but plotted history. From FA cup success as a small lower league club, to the rise and glory to the height of the Premier League with a final day victory over Reading. You could even look at beating Arsenal to the Carling Cup Final as a great achievement.

But as something that has been so evoking, and meant so much to me as a fan. There is one game that stands out so so much. That is the 3-2 win over West Ham United two years ago, not only because the three points helped us survive the relegation, but it was a game in which I don't think I have ever felt a difference in emotions.

Of course there have been better performances, and yes there have been great goals that players for the club have scored. I could be here for hours. But in terms of showing the magnificent and the ecstasy of football it has to be this win. Coming from 2-0 down, for Charles N'Zogbia to roll the ball into the goal with the last kick of the game.

So here it is that last goal and the celebrations and you can tell just how much it means to us Wiganers! Have to say I was close to tears when this went in I was that caught up in the game.

Please share your other memories and especially the ones from our seven Premier League seasons as we head into what will be the clubs eighth season.
