Rodallega's Big Club Move

Thank You for the memories Hugo, as the Striker signs on a free for Fulham.
Thank You for the memories Hugo, as the Striker signs on a free for Fulham.

Well three of our free agents have now found new clubs. Chris Kirkland and Mohamed Diame both signed for new clubs earlier on (Sheffield Wednesday and West Ham United respectively), while it has taken longer for Rodallega to find his club, apparently it is the move he wanted all along.

Now no offence to Fulham, I do think you are a great club, but in what way is it the move that Hugo was looking for. Well I suppose the £70,000 a week helps, almost quadrupedal what the player had at Wigan Athletic. The wages seems appears to have been the reason that Hugo didn't move to Everton.

It seems that all parties are happy with the move, yet if I was a Fulham fan I wouldn't hold my breathe. Rodallega is not the answer to your goalscoring problems, it takes about five chances for him to score one.

Although you never know a change of scenery and he may come a live. Hugo would only be one of three players to have furthered their careers after leaving Wigan, Everton's Leighton Baines and Manchester United's Antonio Valencia the other two.

But from us here at Pie Eaters Footie, we do wish you all the best Hugo, you have been a Wigan great and won't be forgotten.
