The second round of the Capital Cup (i.e. the league cup), saw Wigan drawn away against the new mega rich Nottingham Forrest. The match will for Wigan be a chance for second team players to have a chance to play, and for Martinez to look at other options. None seems to take the League Cup seriously until they reach the quarter final.
