The young centre half signs on a month-long loan deal from Everton. Although the highly-rated centre back has yet to make a senior appearance for the toffees he is, as they say "one for the future".
He said this to the club website:
"It’s great to get my first loan experience at a young age, and I’m pleased it is at Championship-level where I know I’ll really be tested.
"The aim is to help the team and get as many opportunities as possible; I’ve met the rest of the squad and they’ve all been great in helping me settle in.
"I know one or two of them already; I went to school with Lee Nicholls and Jack Phillips so that helps a bit, but everyone’s been very welcoming.
"Primarily, I play as a centre-half, and I can play at full-back as well, but wherever the Manager wants me to go in I will do and give 100% for the team."
The Englishman is thought of highly at Goodison Park, with the 19 year-old representing England at u17 level and making his debut at u19 in March 2013, he is definitely one to be taken seriously.
Browning could be in line for an appearance tomorrow against Bournemouth wearing the number 31 shirt respectively.
