The ex-Strasbourg striker returns to Molineux for good this time following the loan spell he had with the Black Country club at the back end of last year. The French striker has joined the Midlands for an apparent undisclosed fee.

Dicko failed to score for the Latics in 9 attempts for the club since joining in August 2011, the 21 year old has had previous loan spells with Blackpool netting 5 times in 22 occasions and Wolves only netting the once in 4 attempts but most recently with League 1 promotion chasing Rotheram where the striker netted 6 times in as many occasions for the club but was recalled early by Uwe Rosler for no apparent reason.

Dicko has been strongly linked with moves away from Wigan since his retunr from Rotheram with the Millers and Coventry City also seeking the striker's signature. Kenny Jackett's side won the race for Dicko with the forward putting pen to paper on a 2 and a half year deal.

Dicko becomes Jackett's 3rd signing of January following the arrivals of Michael Jaccobs and james Henry from Derby and Millwall respectively.Jackett had this to say to the Wolves Club Website:

"He brings pace to our front line which we haven't really had, as well as a good scoring record,"

The French Striker joins the League 1 club to help push the promotion charge to make an immediate return to the Championship, Dicko is eligible for the trip to Crawley on Saturday.
