Match Preview: MK Dons vs Wigan Athletic

So here we go again. A game we really could do with, yet here we are having a very unnecessary mid-week game. The players showed how they can play with a full weeks worth of rest. Against Bournemouth we did not hit our full stride and yet a full fit side won.

We head down south for tonight's game to MK Dons, the 3-3 draw last weekend was a fair result on the full account of the game. Wigan played well going forward a really created some clear cut chances, yet in defense we were all over the place with no structure or organisation. From that MK Dons were able to take advantage and get themselves into the game.

Tonight they will surely look to try and win and get a scalp to take them into the next round of the cup. Both teams know they will play at home against Crystal Palace, for us that would be very much a winnable game. It could see us reach th 5th round of the FA Cup.

The question now resides is what team will Uwe Rosler look to play this evening. Does he rest as many key figures as he can do and see how we do, or does he keep a strong squad get the win and try and push on for the next rounds of the FA Cup. It is weighing up the League vs keeping our Cup defense alive.

Hopefully we will see a good mix of players tonight and go for the win.

MK Dons will more than likely go for their strongest line up possible. Sitting in mid-table a cup run would be in their best interest. Karl Robinson has that decision to make tonight. I think it will be easy for him to make.
