Confirmed Transfer: Grant Holt Will Remain at Huddersfield

Well they have wanted him to stay and of course we have obliged Huddersfield that chance.

Gareth Copley

We all know the story about Grant Holt, the striker we signed under Owen Coyle who would go on to be our saviour. Well that never happened, and following the arrival of Uwe Rosler the two haven't seen eye to eye. It got to the point were reports suggested that Rosler was losing the dressing room, so he had to move Holt on.

That place turned out to be Chris Powell's Huddersfield town, where Holt has gone on to shine. The striker has already become an important figure in their team and he has a goal to his name as well. So the happy thing for all parties was for him to remain at Huddersfield.

The loan being extended to the 28th December. Is it far fetched to say that he will make the move permanent in January with the loan all but then? I wouldn't be surprised to see him make the move to Yorkshire permanent.

Everyone is happy then. We keep him off the wage bill, Holt gets to play regular football and Huddersfield get to keep their striker.
