Match Preview: Wigan Athletic vs Fulham

Big big game this weekend, first off we need to carry on our recent excellent form; secondly we need to avoid losing to a team who are no closing in on our backsides.

Uwe Rosler must have felt like divine intervention after a 2-1 win last weekend against league leaders Derby County. Well now we are five games unbeaten and we need to start getting points on the board and get up and up the table. The club now has to start realizing the dream of getting promotion back to the Premier League.

The team itself is still chopped and changed every other week as Rosler continues to try and find his best starting 11. The inclusion of Roger Espionza is a big headache now, the Honduran who was suppose to be a player on his way out of the club, went on to shine. That has thrown a spanner in the works.

Fulham though come here on the back of a great run of form. They have only lost once in their last five league games, and under Kit Symons that doesn't look like stopping in the near future. They come then to us in high form and spirits, and with the fact they are our massive bogey team probably imprinted in their brains.

Can we break the curse? I don't see it being a win tomorrow. I think a draw would be a result that many of us would expect to see. We have been the draw specialists this year and I could see that continuing.

To win we will need to get a striker in the goals and our strikers forms at the moment are on and off to say the least. The biggest goal threat we seem to have comes from our wide men, both Callum McManaman and James McClean look constantly dangerous when playing. Expect to see the two of them flanking our front man this weekend.

Speaking of front men, we will be welcoming the return of a former fan favourite at the DW Stadium. Hugo Rodallega will return in the white of Fulham, the striker now finally finding his feet at the London club and has been a big part of the changes under Kit Symons.

What do you guys think? Can we keep on the up and get another win? Or will we lose to that team we always seem in capable of beating?
