Norwich City looked for most of the early part of the season to be the one relegated team that could get back into the Premiership this season. Neil Adams managed to keep the bulk of his squad together and added some attacking intend the result saw them settle into a good rhythm and an early season pace.
The last ten games though have seen their form drop right off. Just one win in the time period and they are slowly beginning to sink down the table, is this the time for us to be playing them? You would like to think so.
Malky Mackay's reign has seen and improved mentality, the 2-2 draw with Middlesbrough looked like it could spark the beginning of something. Only for that hope to be extinguished as we lost from in front against a struggling Sheffield Wednesday. The good news is everyone is available for today's game.
Shaun Maloney is fit and Andy Delort is scoring goals for fun in the development squad, will we see the return of the French striker? It seems the time that one of our new strikers stood up to the plate and performed and scored goals. Marc Antoine Fortune for all he gives to the team never truly looks like scoring half the time, we need a man up front who can get the goals.
Speaking of goals, Chris McCann bagged his first since injury last weekend and he is looking very sharp. Combine that with the long awaited return of Ben Watson and our midfield could give our manager a headache. Who plays? And who deserves to play? For me is Maloney is fit then he plays in front of two defensive midfielders, but then I am not the manager.
Is this a must win game? Well the situation we are in makes every game that we have a must win one. No matter who the opposition we need to start getting points on the table and stop the rot, we do have the players to do that and I have faith in the management team here at the club that we can do it.
