Let's start in the UK and work ourselves outwards.
Firstly Callum McManaman our attacker has been the speculation of interest for quite some time now. We rejected offers over the summer from Crystal Palace which were rumoured to be in the region of £6 million, now West Bromwich Albion have come in for him. No surprise really because yet again it is Tony Pulis who is looking at our man. Their reported highest bid has been £3 million.
We have told them to go away and come back with more money. Rumours have been about that Macca wants away from the club, how much of that is true I don't know but if a substantial offer which was right for the club came in; in our current situation I see it hard for us to say no.
Also at home younger defender Michael Wilson has joined Colywn Bay for a month. The Vanarama Conference team taking the young lad on and hopefully he will make his debut this weekend. All the best to him!
In Spain there is reported interest from Segunda Division team Real Betis for Ivan Ramis. With six months left on his contract and the player struggling to overcome his long standing knee issues there could be room for this move. At the moment Ramis is sidelined with an ankle injured, but if Betis come in with a reasonable offer we may try to recoup some money and get Ramis's large wage of our bill.
The final sets of rumours revolve our dear Shaun Maloney. His move to midlands club Leicester City fell through last week and Celtic are reportedly believed to have pulled out of any possible deal for the attacker. There is continued interest though from the MLS with Chicago Fire very happy to be close to having a deal tied up for the attacker. There are legs behind this one and something could be sorted by end of this week, so keep tuned in.
