West Bromwich Albion have not stopped all January in their pursuit of our talented winger Callum McManaman and well they have finally signed him. The attacker has looked disheartened for a while, and that shows the poor management at the club not to fuel him to want to say.
With two years on his contract I would have resolutely refused to sell. Instead an offer that if reportedly just shy of £5 million has been accepted and Macca has now finally agreed terms and packed his bags off to the Midlands. The attacker has signed on a two and half year deal for Tony Pulis's team.
So while that was going on, Adam Forshaw was heading more north.
A £2 million offer, for the former Brentford FC and Everton FC, from Middlesbrough FC has been enough for us to accept and for him to leave. The player hasn't even been on the pitch enough to have had an opinion made of him here!
So two players gone and £7 million in, that makes sense. Then you look at who we have sold two very talented young players and you have to bang your head against a wall.
I am expecting a rabbit out of a hat here from Mackay, at the moment it feels like we won't have a squad come the 2nd February.
