Well what a busy Monday? Everyone was expecting the single signing of Jerome Sinclair from Liverpool. However in last half an hour the club have also confirmed the signing of Norwich City youngster John Murphy on a months loan. The winger who played 16 times earlier in the season, has struggled for games since the arrival of Alex Neil.
The winger has managed to score one goal so far this season in Norwich City's early season win over Blackpool 3-1.
It is an interesting signing by the club. Although with James McClean set to miss the next two games with suspension, coupled with continual rumours of his possible departure, Murphy could have been brought into provide us more attacking options.
Hopefully one of the two new lads will have the ability to spark something else going forward. One thing is for sure our attacking line up could have a very youthful look in the next few games.
Murphy who has played for England at both under 18 and under 20 level, will be available for tomorrow's game against Watford.
