Max Power has pretty much been on the Wigan Athletic radar since day one. Gary Caldwell set his sights on the player and sure enough he has closed in on him. The reason for the delay is due to the player only being 21 years old and the fact that Tranmere Rovers are due some compensation for the player.
Unfortunately it has been reported that the two parts have been unable to reach an agreement. This means that they will now have to await the verdict of the FA tribunal court which sorts of these kind of matters. The fee which had been initially banded about was somewhere in the region of £300,000.
Power signs having already made a 100 senior appearances at both League One and League Two level with accolades coming his way from both team mates and fans alike. A very good a shrewd signing who very much has his future ahead of him.
