One Stop Guide to Wigan Athletic's Transfer Deadline Day

Not sure what to expect today? Well read our guide and find out just who could be on their way into the club and who we may be willing to let go on transfer deadline day.

It has been a very busy transfer window for Latics. Uwe Rosler has brought in six players this summer, and he doesn't look like slowing down just there yet, with two targets close to signing and one player waiting in the wings if it is decided that another player is needed to be brought in.

So just who could we be signing?

Well Andy Delort who was unveiled at the Birmingham game on Saturday is set to complete his move today. The French club Tours who we are signing him from have yet to confirm the deal, they even went as far as to release a statement to say that no deal had yet been done.

The fine details though with the French striker look to have been done, and the fee has now reportedly been agreed and the player will sign the contact to make him a Wigan Athletic player.

One deal done and the long awaited completion to the Adam Forshaw deal looks set to be done. The player has already passed a medical and had his contract drawn up, whilst we have come to agreement with Brentford however we haven't with Everton.

The sticking point of the deal has been the fact that Everton have a 60% sell on clause for Forshaw. Dave Whelan is looking to pay the London club in installments, whilst Everton want their fee in one big bulk. Uncle Dave though isn't for budging and hopefully something has been sorted and Forshaw will be confirmed a Wigan player.

The final player who could come in is an unknown. The mystery player has reportedly had a medical and is waiting in the wings to come in to the club As to who it could be well there hasn't been a solid name floating around, but just watch this space.

Well with players coming in, who could be on their way out?

James McArthur is one player being linked with a move away from the club. After a move to Leicester City fell through the player was selected at the weekend and shone. It is now being reported, only may I point out by the Daily Mail, that McArthur will move to Crystal Palace for £7 million.

Anyone else likely to go? Ivan Ramis could be avaliable if a club comes in with an offer, whilst the exiled Grant Holt is of course free for anyone to take of our hands.

It will be more a case of trying to keep hold of our star players on deadline day and one such player as Callum McManaman. The winger has been in fantastic form this season and managed to bag two goals at the weekend, the player is priceless to us if we are aiming for promotion and hopefully no Premier League clubs come sniffing around the player.
