Tours FC have now officially confirmed that they have accepted an offer from Wigan Athletic for striker Andy Delort and that the player will complete a move to the club today. The striker was unveiled by the club on Saturday before the game against Birmingham.
That looked to be a little bit premature though as Tours then went on record to say no deal had officially been completed yet and that they were still in negotiations with other clubs. It did look however that both the player himself and Wigan felt the deal was done and just a formality of dotting the i's and crossing the t's.
Now that looks to be the case with a deal agreed, reportedly worth somewhere in the region of 4 million euros, which is somewhere in the region of just over £3 million. The deal being pushed though then looks to me like we are looking to push through the sale of James McArthur.
