Four game to go, that's a possible 12 points, and a seven point gap between us and safety; the task of survival looks all but impossible. Yet there could be light at the end of the tunnel as Rotherham United could be about to get themsleves in a spot of bother.

Rotherham United have been charged with fielding an ineligible player in their 1-0 home win over Brighton last Monday. The matter with now be taken up with the Football League Disciplinary Commission, and by the letter of the law Rotherham could be in line for a points deduction.

The FA Handbook on rules and regulation states that:

"Any team playing an unregistered or otherwise ineligible player or players may/shall

have the points gained in the match deducted from its total and may be fi ned and/or

otherwise dealt with at the discretion of the Management Committee."

Any decision the committee want to ruled on before the end of the season. It looks possible that it could be game on for Wigan Athletic and Millwall. This has made Tuesday game all the more important now!
