Coyle makes first signing.

Owen Coyle today made his first signing at the helm of the Latics securing the services of 25 year old Chris McCann who played under Coyle at Burnley. McCann will join Wigan on July 1st when his contract at Burnley expires. Burnley is the only professional team McCann has played for making 238 appearances and scoring 27 goals from the attacking midfield role. McCann who was in high demand has signed a deal that will last 3 years.

Owen Coyle told the club website that he is "Delighted to bring a player of Chris' ability to the club" McCann, 25, who is still young in terms of football will hopefully have a long and successful time at Wigan.
